Contractors are going to charge between 15% and 25% of the total cost of your home so make sure you’re keeping costs in line.
3. Think Hard About Your Wants and Needs
When it comes down to it, you really need to know what you want. Determine how many rooms you need and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms you want. Then move on to including luxury features like a spa or a pool and hot tub. Consider adding green features and appliances to help cut costs on utilities. Consider adding other luxury features like a wine cellar or an outdoor kitchen area for entertaining. Again, the possibilities are practically endless.
